Attorney Advocate
This litigation based service does not mean you will necessarily go to trial, but it does mean that one party is unwilling to compromise and that may result in needing the assistance of the Court in coming to a resolution.
It is imperative to have a very skilled negotiator and advocate in your corner, because these matters can be difficult to navigate independently due to the level of emotion involved. We are highly experienced in all aspects of family law litigation, including: Child custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, complex property division and related.
Mediation
In divorce mediation, a mediator acts as a neutral third party who sits down with you and your spouse to facilitate a resolution of all your divorce issues. The mediator doesn’t make any decisions; that part of the process is up to you and your spouse. Instead, the mediator helps you generate settlement options and communicate with each other until you can find a workable settlement of your case.
Most couples can resolve cases through mediation even if they are frustrated or angry. At Julie Mack & Associates, our mediators are experienced in helping you work through conflict, making sure you have all the information you need to make good decision.

Consultation and Divorce Planning
Most people do not just wake up one day and decide to get divorced. It’s often a decision making process that takes months or years. Sometimes people are not ready to file for divorce, but they want to understand what what financial decisions they should be making while married in case it happens. This is where Divorce Planning comes in and our attorneys will answer your questions and help you plan so you and your family can be as prepared as possible if your marriage ends in the future.
Collaborative Divorce
A Collaborative Divorce is an out of court process where participants work with a team of professionals to craft their own agreements. You will each have an attorney as your advocate in the process, there will be a neutral financial expert so that gathering financial information can be streamlined, and you will have the assistance of a coach or child specialist to help with decision making. Clients work together in a confidential setting and all decisions are made by the participants without the involvement of a judge.
